ADVANCED TRAINING

My clients and I were excited about the results, but I still had a some questions. So I went straight to the horse's mouth: I called the creator of the whole process, and was invited in for a rare opportunity to DO A CLIENT TOGETHER WITH HIM! Of course I jumped on that! I had my questions answered but also learned some of his personal tips and tricks they didn't teach in the class. It was AMAZING, I felt SO LUCKY!

CERTIFICATION

I took the Certification class ASAP after having my hair done, because I loved it so much! It was a lecture and demonstration, followed by a hands-on session where the class split into groups to work on models. We each worked on our assigned models, then rotated to see how it was working on the different hair types.

I left the class feeling exhilarated and couldn't wait to dive in! I started working with clients and friends to get some experience and learn some tricks. I will post a series of photos of the miracles I was now thrilled to be able to perform.

NOT REAL TIME

I'd just like to reiterate that this blog is not yet in real time. I am journaling my experiences over the last 14 months and will let you know when I'm caught up (soon I hope).

waves coming back

2 months later, my curls were slowly and evenly returning, but without frizz. I had my bangs re-done to keep them straight, and enjoyed this in-between look. I never could have stretched my curls out to look like this before (remember how springy the curls were?)

What's next?

Being the curious gal that I am, I wondered, "what can I do with my hair now, that I could never have done before?" BANGS! And why not a color change, while we're at it?
